The client owned this site in Lower Bourne and came to me to design a large five-bedroom family home that maximised the sloped land of the plot and was tucked away from the road.

Middlemarch is a magnificent new 3,000 ft family home that I designed for a local property developer in 2017. Located within a secluded woodland setting and with an emphasis on family living, the home combines graceful elegance with the versatility of everyday modern living. Middlemarch has been thoughtfully designed to provide a generously proportioned 5 bedroom family home. The imposing orangery, with woodland views, offers spacious, light and airy accommodation ideally suited to entertaining.

An elegant entrance hallway opens towards a central staircase leading to an impressive kitchen, breakfast room and family snug affording direct access into the garden.

The traditional architecture is paired with sympathetic sustainable design features such as MVHR which provides constant fresh and healthy air and recycles the waste heat allowing the home to always be at the perfect temperature while using very little amounts of energy.

Having a fully dimensioned 3D model means there are no nasty on-site surprises. The house is built as designed allowing you to keep on budget.

Realtime Revisions

The 3D model drives all the drawings and elevations allowing instant visual results, no more guessing from 2D floor plans.
